Can thanks to swalden28. Pours with a clear golden body and a small white head. Aroma is grassy, grainy, sweet, bread. Taste is watery, grainy, bread. Watery mouthfeel, medium carbonation.

Can thanks to swalden28, no really, thank you. Pours with a very pale, clear golden body and a fading white head. Aroma of grain, apple and something I can’t read, but probably doesn’t matter. Taste is sweet, watery, with strong hints of toilet water. Watery. Water. More water. Bleh.

Decent apple aroma. Clear golden, no head. Apple with a pervasive flavor of plastic, from start to finish. Alcohol magnified. This is really pretty disgusting, although the Jackhammer was drinkable. I will uprate, however, because the picture of it served in a snifter is fucking hilarious! A snifter, really? I think I’m making that my Facebook photo.

Can: Cider vinegar aroma, substantially rubbery. Clear yellow, medium white head. Much cleaner flavor of apples. Rubber returns in the finish. A bit cloying. Not very beery or strong, but one of the least offending beers I’ve had from City.

This beast of a beer is housed up in a 24oz can courtesy of bvc. It pours deep clear gold with thin bright white head. The aroma is sweet sweetness with acetone, corn, esters everywhere and a touch of floral hops. The taste is aggressively sweet and slick moving into corn and pears by midway. Too darn sweet. I’d have to have a lot of food with this to cut the sweetness in order to have a chance at finishing a can.

Draft: Tart vinegar and diacetyl. Clear amber, medium vanishing head. Surprising amount of body for a lager. Somewhat cloying flavor of cereal grains. Cane sugar finish, almost toothpaste minty. Dreadful stuff. I feel like I’m being "Rick Rolled" everytime I drink something from City. Perhaps City should become a verb meaning to obfuscate or hoodwink. City Brewery, ya got me again, dudes.

EARTHQUAKE! Thank you Jake for the beautiful picture. CRUSHED with angrypirate06! Large white head over a clear, deep golden body. Alcohol, but less so than STACK. Aroma of rotten bananas, alcohol, green apple and sweetness. Corn sugar. Taste is alcohol, rotten fruit, garbage, butter, esters, and crap. An odd combination of fizzy bubbles and syrupy thick body.

I don’t think it tastes so bad. The alcohol has been cut down to 8%, but sold in a 40 oz, I can’t imagine the terrible hangover from even one of these sugar-loaded concoctions. Its green. It tastes like a sour cherry jolly rancher.

Very dark maroon color with a scant tan head and no significant lacing. Lots of malt flavor, but also lots of hops - unusual to find both so prominently displayed in a winter ale. Light spice, probably cinnamon. Very drinkable.
