Bottled. Golden colour, mediumsized foamy head. Aroma is grassy, hoppy and acidic. Flavour is a bit acidic on the tongue, as well as malty. Refreshing, but then again watery. Some weak honeyish hints in flavour and finish. The aftertaste turns more into hops and grass and stays for a while.

Dark ruby color, small but steady tan head. Caramelly, butterscotch nose (diacetyl?). Aggressive carbonation. Roasted malty, buttery and caramelly - propably hints of diacetyl. Quite sweet and uninspiring. (4/4/4/2/10 2.4)
Re-rated, bottled
New label, but propably same recipe. Nut brown color, cloudy off-white head. Caramelly and diacetylic nose. Caramelly and diacetylic is also the flavor. Some harshness in the finish. Pathetic. (3/4/3/2/8 2.0)

Bottled, brewed by Harboe in Denmark, bottled in Estonia (BB 12/2005)
Golden color, small white head and some lace. Aroma is quite typical for N/A-lager: metallic sweet malty with rubber and plastic. Watery, mainly sweetish malty (maybe corn is used too), no hops found. Not the worst N/A beer I have sampled, lacks offensive side flavors of its style.

A light yellow beer with a white head. The aroma is sweet hoppy and so is the flavor, while the body is thin. Boring.

Draught @ Tristan & Isolde, Tallinn
Yellow, slightly hazy color, creamy white head. Nose is a bit harsh with malts and hint of hops. Crisp mouthfeel. Flavor has lemon water, malts and sweetness. Sourish aftertaste. A bit hard-to-rate lager.

Plastic bottle (1 litr) (BB 05/2005)
Pale golden with white head. Sugary and caramelly aroma. Sweet malty, light-bodied - easy to drink. Some harsh flavors together with sugar.

Plastic bottle, 1 ltr (BB 05/2005)
Dark ruby with good brown head. Aroma has lots of caramel, toffee and chocolate. Dry malty flavor with light chocolaty tones. Quite carbonated. Ok as a plastic bottle beer.

Bottled. Chestnut browm, near no head. Vague raisin aroma. fairly sweet with clean, hard mouthfeel and low hop rate. There’s a vague hint of chocolate. The poor, sharp malt character destroys this beer.

Bottled (BB 12/2004)
Pale lager color, white head with some lace. Cornish-like nose with notes of hop. Basic light-bodied lager with some late malty flavor in aftertaste, but it has no vicious side flavors either.

Bottled (BB 09/2004)
Ruby color. Tanned small head with big bubbles. Lively carbonation. Aroma has roast, dark chocolate and notes of toffee and metal. Flavor has lightly roasted malts, toffee and dark coffee, mouthfeel is a bit on thin side. Some bitterness in the aftertaste. One of the best Viru Õlu products, their many other brews are among the worst in Estonia.
