Can. Black with a tan cm of head that’s soon a coat. Roast and coffee aroma with some earthy spices. Dryish and pretty roasty with coffee and only hints of chocolate. Bitterness is more roasted than hop but there are some earthy spices too. Very drinkable.

We must be running out of pop culture references - this one nods at a TV ad for reduced fat milk for fat old blokes. Can. Black with a tan coat. Roasty aroma with caramel, some mocha. Low carbonation. Firm roast, bitter coffee, some liquorice. Not a heap of lactose and it needs it really to balance the roasted bitterness.

Can. Fairly hazy orange with a cm of white head that lasts well. Aroma of Meyer lemon pith, crackery bread, papaya, some pine. Upon a swig, some under-ripe tropical notes are there too. The malt is rich enough to support but that's about it; the hop flavours are quite complex. Medium bitterness. Good.

Aromas of grapefruit, mango, orange peel and passionfruit. The mango lays down a thick slick on the roof of the mouth, while the grapefruit rips across the tongue. It's all very well made, but there's something about this clash of flavours that doesn't quite nail it.

Tap. Pale amber with a lasting white head. Aroma of citrus, white grapes, dope. Sweet with rather anonymous malt, nice hops - NS is a very pushy hop - firm bitterness. Pretty good.

From a 500ml can on 17/3/2026. Pours a hazy deep golden with a smallish head. The nose is mainly citrus with some tropical notes. There's lots going on fruit wise with pineapple, nectarine and mango kicking things off, before you're hit with lots of zesty citrus - mandarin, lemon and lime, finishing with a moderate lingering bitterness. Has a silky mouthfeel with average carbonation. Balanced and moreish. Lovely stuff.

Can. Just unclear pale amber with a cm of white head. Aroma of pine, peach, Meyer lemon, light bread. Lots of citrus and some herbal notes. The malt side of things gets a bit crowded out. Medium high bitterness.

From a 500ml can on 27/1/2026. Pours a hazy medium golden with a smallish head. The nose is lovely - fruity, floral and honeyed. Tastes even better, with masses of zesty orange, honey and some biscuity notes, giving strong US East Coast vibes Has a satisfying tangy bitterness at the back with a slightly warming finish that confirms the heft of beer. Has a silky mouthfeel with moderate carbonation. This is a sensational, perfectly balanced delight.

Another delightful Cake Eater. Aromas of pineapple, peach, mango and fairy floss. It has a lovely creamy mouthfeel and some nice citrus notes to cut through the sweetness. It really is a cracker.

From a 500ml can on 15/11/2025. Pours a hazy medium golden with a medium head. The nose features lots of zesty citrus and a touch of peach. Citrus dominates on the sip too - while there's some orange and peach up front, it's dominated by strong notes of lemon, lime and grapefruit, with a pretty firm bitterness as the back with lots of zesty citrus rind. Has a slightly silky palate and moderate carbonation. Full on for a relatively little beer, with lots of complexity and character. Terrific stuff.
