Description
We chose the name Odd Breed for our brewery because the yeast and bacteria we use are not the typical microbes used in a brewery for fermentation. In a world of industrialized and mainstream beer, most other brewers would consider our brewery and process to be a bit odd.
We think that being different is a good thing, and in a crowded market where most breweries are emulating whatever they think is popular or trendy, we have purposefully chosen to create our own path, as we strive to produce the types of beers we like most.

Cloudy, blonde, no head, has lots of green sour mango, really lactic. Probably a little too sour, really.

Amber, nice brett up front, tart accents, and a hint of barrel. Slight barrel.

Hazy, dull pale brown, just a thin head. Lots of barrel, i like the accent the currants lend. Fun stuff.

Slight haze, thin head. Has a bit of a meaty note, lots of fruit - a bit overripe maybe, but unique. I suspect thereβs a touch more pedio in there than I might prefer. Moderate acidity and light sweetness as well.

Hazy, pale, cloudy, med head. On the nose, mellow brett, a bit of rye but mostly tart, big woody vinous notes.

Flat-looking, reddish, no head. Lots of tartness. Melange of fruits with red apple tannins, and sweet cherry notes jumping out the most.

Pale, touch of haze, thin head, little bit of a smoky, meaty note, lots of lactic acid, some buggy complexity, and a touch of wood in the finish. The smoke is just that little bit of an accent.

Dull muddy light brown, lots of boozy rum notes, quite sweet and then also tart woody elements. Big and complex, rummy and raisiny, but still an overall tart beer.

Medium pink-red colour, thin head. Lots of blackberry, really tart, bracing almost. A bit sharp for me.
