Can. had another VHS some days ago and it was fantastic so this is getting interesting already.
hazy light yellow, light yellow large soapy head
Juicy citrus/grapefruit hoppy aroma, sold crisp malty base, really good fairly simple but very potent hoppy aroma.
flavor is more bitter hoppy than aroma, the bitterness is citrus fruit peely, sweet malts, sugary but not caramelly, end is more juicy than bitter, far end is quite grapefruity and grapefruit peely though.
An aromatic and very solid double hazy ipa, well above standard for most danish microbrewers.

cloudy yellow, white smooth head.
pine and grapefruity hoppy aroma with citrus fruity notes as well as exotic fruity notes.tiny bit of moudly or overripe fruit peel. the malts are sort of neutral, perhaps ever so slightly buttery.
Nice hoppy flavor but somehow comes off as thin bodied and watery. i'd like a more solid malty base, or a more crisp malty base.

west coasty hoppy aroma, subdued bitter, quite juicy but not overly fruit juicy, pretty good but somewhat mildish and introvert.
really nice, very seriously hoppy and malty flavor, quite along the lines of west coast ipas and stronger hazy ipa's, the flavor is intense and well balanced imperial malts and imperial hops. end is not that bitter, but more grassy-herbal. the malts are somewhat sweet but match up well with the rest, overall flavor is seriously hoppy double ipa.
This is a world class double IPA. Probably even great if you're not totally sold reg. hazy ipa's. likely best beer from the brewery that I have tasted.

pours clear brown, settles dark brown with a beige to light brown smooth head. aroma of marzipan, vanilla, cake cream, sweet pastry, white chocolate, bitter butterscotch caramel, maybe a bit of faint roasted coffee, faint roasted malts. quite artificial but basically pleasing pastry with cream aroma.

flavor is vanilla, white chocolate, roasted malts, coffee, booze and bitter woody notes as if it was barrel aged or had been kept with soaked wood chips, but i think these notes are from the aritificial flavoring. good bitterness that fints with a heavy imperial stout, but then does not fit entirely with the sweet pastry stout part, moving the beer a bit towards bittersweet.

Clear golden, airy white head. Sweet fruity, piney aroma. Sweet piney flavour, sweet malty, hoppy. Lacks bitterness for a west coast IPA, makes it kind of bland.

Can. A cloudy dark golden beer with a thin beige head. The aroma has notes of citrus fruits, pine needles, hops, and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, citrus fruits, pine needles, hops, and malt, leading to a bitter finish. 6/2/6/3/13

Can 44 cl. Cloudy opaque golden with a lacing, white head. Fruity nose. Medium body, yeasty and spicy with a brutal bitterness. But just turning up the IBUs doesn't make a West Coast IPA. This is harsh and in your face unbalanced. 040126
