16oz @ Phill's shared with Farees, Josh, and Ryan.
Aroma: hop burn, juicy, some tropical fruits.
Taste: along the same lines, quite harsh, chalky.
Overall: meh.

They've released other hefes under similar names, so I imagine every name tweak is matched by a recipe tweak. Well, they've been very good so far and this is the best one yet. This is a style Fern + Cedar brews very well.

Opaque, bright banana, wheaty body, light acidity. Creamy and vibrant at the same time. Complex, flavourful, not a single off-note anywhere. This is dialled right in.

Pinkish-amber, lemony, lots of kettle sour, kind of simple. This one kind of thuds for me, lacking the brightness that the passionfruit one had.

Murky, medium brown, medium head. Toasty, good malt complexity, sort of an off-dry finish. Pretty good.

Thin head, dullish, moderate bitterness, sort of nondescript hop expression and uncompelling malt base.

Pale with a slight haze. Thin head. Kettle, lime is decent and some sweetish passionfruit notes balance it out fairly well.

Opaque and pale. This is one of the most egregious chalky things I've had in a while. Just straight hop burn, no hop expression. Malt base is too thin, but not much would be able to hold up this excess of unbalanced drek. This beer is everything that is wrong with hazy IPA.

Really soft nutmeg, vanilla creme, mellow toffee, caramel. Good creamy body, and balanced spices - even with things like ginger it's actually mellow.

Murky dull yellow. Not a great look. Medium head. There's a somewhat generic hop aroma. On the palate, it's dullish, with vaguely citrusy hop character, but the malts aren't that great. Bitterness is low, there's some sweetness but it's not coming together.

Darkish amber, medium head. Lots of malt - biscuit, toffee, toast, balanced bitterness and plenty of I guess fir tip? Spruce? Some sort of tree. Well-balanced.
