Somos Cristina Sáez y Andreas Hakansson. En 2019 creamos juntos Sáez & Son en Valencia, tras 5 años de educación y experiencia en Berlín. Allí, nos formamos en la escuela VLB como maestros cerveceros y trabajamos en fábricas como Stone Brewing y BRLO. En paralelo, gestionamos nuestra marca de cerveza artesanal, Pirate Brew Berlín. Con esta experiencia, educación y pasión, creamos Sáez & Son, para poder ofreceros cervezas actuales y diferentes. Nuestra mentalidad cervecera, combina lo clásico y moderno, resultando en cervezas sorprendentes y creativas, además de equilibradas y elegantes.

Pours muyrky yellow with a lacing white head. Lovely rip tropical fruits, orange creamsicle and dense citrusy hops. Lovely malty support. Very nice.

Draft at the Funchal Taproom. The bartender warned me about it, so I was prepared for how funky this is. Pours a murky, light brown color, with a big, foamy, fine, beige head. The nose is coconut, milk chocolate, lemon juice, and caramel. Sweet and sugary, with a sour, acidic flavor. Medium, creamy, sharp, acidic, and effervescent. Really weird, but pretty tasty. Not a stout; more like a chocolate smoothie sour.

Spansk uke og lesestund på biblioteket en lørdag formiddag, smaksprøve fra fat: uklar gylden med fint skum som varer. Saftig anslag med generøse mengder modne tropiske frukter, søt citrus, aprikos/fersken og behagelig furunåls/eukalyptusbitterhet. Deilig maltkropp som avslutter med den viktige mersmaken. Og et nytt bryggeri for meg, alltid en ekstrabonus.
