Draught @ Fermentoren and then at a later point @ Haket. Pours hazy pale golden with a frothy offwhite head that slowly dissipates while leaving some thick sticky lacing and trace on the glass. Smell is dank, fruity and grassy with crackers, grapefruit juice, mango, passion fruit, star fruit, papaya, freshly cut grass, pine needles, grape skins, lemon zest and subtle hints of diesel fuels. Taste is slightly bitter, fruity and grassy. Mouthfeel is crisp, slightly dry, slightly astringent and light to medium bodied. Finish is bitter with crackers, grapefruit juice, mango, passion fruit, star fruit, freshly cut grass, pine needles, minerals, grape skins and lemon zest. Wow! Simple, dank and highly aromatic APA. Very much up there with my favorite US APA’s like Tired Hands Hophands and Hill Farmstead Edward. Home run beer all the way through!
