Ein hart bitteres Imperial IPA, das mir zu stark war, der Wodka-gewöhnten Schwiegermutter aber gemundet hat. Es ist extra hopfig-bitter und beißt dementsprechend, dafür bekommt man auch die volle Dröhnung frischen Hopfen. Wenn man das mag, ist man richtig, aber wirklich bekömmlich ist es nicht.

Nachdem ich meine erste Dose einem Kumpel geschickt hatte, ohne es selbst zu kosten, bestellte ich mir schnell eine neue Dose, die ich noch bei Kriegsbeginn bekam. Es ist ein wirklich tolles Bier, das besonders mit seinem speziellen Geschmack nach grünem Tee wirbt. Der ist wirklich gut verwoben: der Teegeschmack ist weder abstrus oder zu intensiv noch fehlt er komplett. Es ist ein feiner Ton, der sich durch den ganzen Körper zieht und gut verwoben mit dem leichtem Lageraroma ein erfrischendes, interessantes Trinkerlebnis liefert. Auch wenn ich nicht herausfinden konnte, was es mit dem Namen Sammerti auf sich hat, gibt es eine klare Empfehlung von mir.

12oz can, consumed from the can... I'll assume it was a clear gold. Head popped from the top, so there's that. Flavor has dough and yeast and some flowers. Flavors are the same, some yeast, dough, lemon. Finishes clean, fairly easy to drink.
