Dark brown to black colored, medium tan head, OK lacing. Aroma is of malt, some chocolate, bit toast, light caramel, some corn. Taste is medium sweet malt, bit caramel, some chocolate, light+ herbal bitterness, sweetish finish. Medium bodied, soft carbonation. (bottle)

Tap at Kitty's, Helsinki. Color is clear orange with small white head. Aromas and flavors: Caramel, some sweetness, some hops and malts. Can't find much "IPA elements".

Can from Tesco. Unimpressed. This one comes out quite artificial in the end. It has exactly the same kind of taste which makes it awful experience when having more than one.

Lahev (@My, Národní): Deep golden, clear, moderate creamy and lacy off-white head; citrussy-lemony nose with bready malt underneath; mild to moderate dryish bitter-sweet flavour, light to medium bodied, pretty soft; lingering dryish citrussy and bready-malty finish. Quite good, but the "ale-character" is hardly detectable. Tastes like a well hopped Polotmávý...

Ein nettes Dunkles mit eher herben Hintergrund. Dazu ein paar Schokoaromen und ein süß-malziger Unterton machen es durchaus interessant. Allerdings fehlt mir etwas die Ausgewogenheit der wirklich guten tschechischen Dunklen, weshalb ich es zum guten Durchschnitt geben würde. EIn guter Klassiker für zwischendurch.

On tap at ponte pub. Amber color, clear, White head, plenty of lacing. Pale malt and lots grass, straw, noble hops. Mild bitter finish, almost dry.
