Bottle picked up from the brewery in Modrava in and consumed at home Saturday 2nd August 2025 listening to Theodor - Holocene as Loz I'm making Pickled Gherkins. Pours mid hazy gold with a mid sized white head. Aroma is a bit of malt and a little honey, perhaps some hops but not so much. Taste following a similar trajectory, soft mouthfeel, okay, there's a little bit of bite late on. Mid table mediocrity.

Bottle that we never got around to drinking at the weekend, picked this up from the brewpub, Modrava and consumed at home Monday 21st July 2025 cooking Chanterelles in a Creamy Sauce with Tagliatelle, listening to ByteFM. It's been a shocking day today, rained most of the night and then heavy rain for much of the day. Pours very dark brown, a very deep mahogany with an off white head. Roasted malts dominate both the aroma and the flavour with a little thin watery coffee element, some dark sugar in the background, not bad. Soft mouthfeel, a little dark fruity tang, fine.

1l PET, thx F&L! Bit hazy coppery-amber body, fleeting head. Vague orange, but mostly caramel and dried fruit aroma. ČIPL? Lean, dry, bit soapy, wormwoody, low orange, caramelly, unreasonably big bitterness. ČIPL.

PET bottle picked up directly from Pivovar Lyer and consumed in the company of Ursula and Marko Saturday 19th July 2025 at the Mangled Ham tasting. Pours light amber with a small white head that soon departs. Soft mouthfeel, there's caramel and a little citrus. Could be a bit more bitter, actually it's picking up, however it could be a bit cleaner and crisper. Fine but a bit safe.

Tap at Festival minipivovaru na Hrade. Very clean, very good. Med-high bitterness, med-light sweetness, medium honeyish bready maltiness, medium grassy herbal hops character. Really nice

Tap at Prague Castle Fest as 16° Světlé Silné - the last keg there was, the brewer said! Orange-golden body, off-white thick head. Some grainy and caramelly maltiness in the dry aroma, vague diacetyl. Very pleasant lean, sweetish clean malty taste, somewhat caramelly, ending with a nice light dry bitterish touch. A pleasant bockoid, retro in a good way!

Tap at Prague Castle Fest. Golden body, off-white head. Lightly buttery taste, herbal hoppiness. Nice creamy malty backbone, light herbal hoppiness, quite pleasant carbonation, mild oxidation but fine!

Tap at Festival minipivovaru na Hrade. A bit oxidated but otherwise a quite clean, nice, tasty lager, very classic feeling.
