Hairless Dog Brewing Company
Microbrewery in Minneapolis, Minnesota, United States 🇺🇸
Hairless Dog Brewing was born because we were thirsty. We’re a new breed of craft beer loving social animals who roam in low and no alcohol mode. We don’t want to hide out, we want to go out. We want to hang out. We want to party like there’s a tomorrow, without the stigma that comes with “old" NA beer. When we hunted for 100% craft at 0.0% ABV we couldn't find it. So we made it ourselves.
Proudly based in Minneapolis, MN, we're brewing truly NA beer for everyone like us who wants a good craft beer without the alcohol. Find Hairless Dog at our online store for shipping to the continental US as well as in liquor stores and grocery stores across the country. Check our store finder for a location near you.
Go ahead. Party like there's a tomorrow. With 0.0 regrets.

Canned some light hops and watery grains - nothing amazing here. Not that great even for a 0 %er

I've upped my N/A beers over 2022, and I've been surprised by a number of them. Unfortunately, this wasn't one of them. I don't know if this one just happened to be old or what, but I only got a wort-forward malt flavor, some earthy, herbal hops, at that. As a malt-beverage it was, just barely drinkable, but it needed a big pop of hops to really make this something I'd drink again in the right setting.

Molasses, wort, wood smoke and hay aroma. Dark brown with moderate tan head. Mildly sweet molasses, wort, and moderately bitter dry hay and charcoal flavor. Watery palate.
Black pour. Thin foam. Even lace. Stale coffee flavor with cocoa nibs notes. No carbonation.

Kibble nose, hints of cardboard, soy sauce. Cola brown, thin tan head. Kibble and cardboard, elderberry and white raisin. Light body, easy carbonation. Rather strange. About 10 years ago, I would have been all over this, but near beers have come along way recently.

Definitely one of the better NAs that I've ever had. The aromas are dark malt, wort and dry grain. Flavors are similar to nose, mildly sweet up front with some metallic, bitter and sour in the finish. Decent body and carbonation. It's still definitely an NA not a regular beer but decent for what it is.

Best by June 23rd 2021 for an BA beer??
Looks are it's best asset.
Smells of cereal and rotting vegetable garbage.
Taste is even worse. Cereal, something very off as it has a rotting taste.
Mouthfeel? Okay if it weren't so foul tasting.
Only a single and I can't finish it.

Enjoy by 07/07/2021.
Pours a lightly hazy pale gold with an impressive head of foam.
It smells of grain, malty sweetness, very light bitterness. I just noticed some floaties, well it was on a warm shelf.
Very grainy only nearly matched by sweetness that doesn't seem to fit. Very little hints of any hop presence.
Like body.
No.

Pours dark reddish brown with a thin tan head. Aroma of hop oils. Taste has oat taste, barley, other grains with earthy wood notes. Palate has oily herbal note on the nose, vaguely reminiscent of some form of medication. Not good at all.
