Bottle, 75cl. A sparkling, clear, pale golden colored beer with a small white head. Apple, lemon juice hints, lime, grass, earthy hints and some vague hints of sulphur in the aroma. It's dry and nicely carbonated, with some alcohol. The flavor has apples, yellow mostly, with grass and some lime. Lime hints. Sure not my favoritter cider. Drinkable though. 200727

Tiny fizzy shortlasting head, clear light golden color. Aroma is dry sour-ish fruity, apple cores, sorrel, sour apples, grass, alcohol, bark, apple peel, minerals, flowers. Taste is slightly sweet sour-ish fruity, apple peel, alcohol, sour apples, bark, hay, minerals, apple cores, flowers, hints of harsh citrus peel. Medium to longlasting bitterness, slightly harsh sour-ish fruity mouthfeel. Fair enough.

750 ml corked & caged bottle, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 9%. At last I got around to sampling this prize-winning cider! Clear and very pale yellow colour, pours sparkling with a shortlived white head. Fresh aroma of eating apples / dessert apples. Crisp and fairly dry flavour of apples, okay but not as impressive as I expected.

Bottle, 75cl. It pours a sparkling pale straw colored body with some bubbles on top. There's a faint yeast hint on the nose, with lots of apples. Apple jam, mashed apples, grass and a touch of mango. Or at least some generic tropical fruityness. It's lightly yeasty in the flavor too, with mashed apples, some grass and some tropical fruit notes. Long apple finish with a touch of piney, citrusy hops. Medium to full body, quite a lot of carbonation, mostly on the dry side. Interesting, but a bit unbalanced. 190907

Maritim rating med EO, OG og KH ombord på Fridtjofen (Havnedagene i Haugesund) aug-19: Klar lys gylden nesten uten skum. Epler, epleskall, kanel, vanilje, pære og litt lær. Elegant, lettdrikkelig og med bøttevis av mersmak, selv så sent på kvelden (dette var nr. 23 og den siste på det offisielle programmet).
