Draft at the source in Innsbruck. Brown with a frothy, white head. Roasted grains and toffee greet the nose. Bitter with assertive toasted notes over a rich, malty body. Lingering moderate bitterness. Medium bodied, crisp, fresh feel and surprisingly refreshing for a Dunkles. Best of the 3 I tried.

Draft at the source in Innsbruck. Orange with a frothy head. Grass. Lemons. Orange peel. Bitter and moderate citric. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation. Very drinkable .. this one went down real easy. Nice.

Draft at the source in Innsbruck. Pale gold with a foamy, white head. Like a Radler but with ginger .. it’s bubbly, light, mildly bitter, and a bit citric. Herbal though too. Lingering ginger. Modestly refreshing. Ok. Probably would have enjoyed this more in a different context. e.g a hot summer day.

Draught Small whitish head over veiled orangey yellow beer. Citrus, ginger, faintly soapy aroma. Boiled eggyolk, ginger, honey. No very outspoken flavours. Light body, quite slick. Well, yeah. Some might really like this.

A very dark reddish brown beer with a beige head. Aroma of intense dark malt, some coffee and vanilla. Taste of dark caramelized malt, decent coffee, some vanilla.
