The team behind Mosaic Pubs have opened their first micro-brewery at Battersea Power Station. With a taproom on site, the beer can’t get any fresher as it’s pumped directly into tanks from the brewery.

Tap at the brewery battersea power station. A dark brown black coloured pour with a steadfast beige head. Aroma is nice woody pine, singed pine, liquorice, grass,. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, robust woody roast, sticky pine, sap, light chocolate.. Solid CDA. Palate is semi sweet, rounded, resin, moderate carbonation.

Tap at the brewery battersea power station. A clear amber orange coloured pour with a fine white head. Aroma is semi sweet nice fragrant piney hop, midget gems, grass, grassy citrus, nutty malts. Palate is semi sweet, resin, moderate carbonation, flavour is composed of semi sweet, rustic grains, piney sap. Assertive pine hop bitterness. Good pale.

Tap at the brewery battersea power station. A mostly clear amber copper coloured pour with a lasting off white cap. Aroma is semi sweet, twiggy malts. Nutty, light chalky. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, brown bread, twiggy, nutty, dried fruit, little dull. Palate is semi sweet, mellow carbonation, light chalk. Ok.

Tap at the brewery battersea power station. A mostly clear amber orange coloured pour with a small off white head. Aroma is faint grassy hop, pine, brown bread, dirty hop. Flavour is composed of brown sugars, brown bread, dirty grassy hop, grass, mineral. Palate is thin, light, watery, moderate carbonation. Meh, but boring.

7/3/2024. Draft at Battersea Brewery Tap. Pours close to black with a small creamy beige coloured head. Aroma is chocolate, coffee, roasted malt, caramel, ash, touch of vanilla. Medium sweetness, moderate roasted bitterness. Medium body, quite smooth, average to soft carbonation. Best on the paddle.

7/3/2024. Draft at Battersea Brewery Tap. Pours clear very dark mahogany brown with a small creamy off-white to beige head. Aroma is chocolate, caramel, light roasted malt, slight tropical fruits, dried fruits, ashy edge. Moderate sweetness and medium bitterness. Medium body, light creamy mouthfeel, average carbonation.
