Deadication beer to actress Mary Astor, a favourite of the silent era, but also continued a successful career when sound was added to the vision, she was born on this day in 1906. This Sound & Vision is light with its tropical fruit notes, almost watery, but not thin. Easy strength and texture.

"Sarcasm is the lowest form of wit, but the highest form of intelligence." I have to agree with Oscar here. Very sweet porter, that's not too agreeable with me, a little too cake for me, and usually I'm not picky with my specialist beers.

Cask at Hops d'Amour, Coventry. A black coloured pour with a healthy beige head on top. Sweetish, fruity, cherry, chocolate taste and aroma. Slightly tart, very well made. Really nice porter.
