Straw and light lemon. Pours clear golden. With decent fluffy head. Light cloying finish. Can.

12 oz. can from Total Wine, San Antonio, TX. Pours a cloudy pale gold color with a small, fizzy, white head and poor retention. Zero lacing. Light bready malt aroma. The flavor is more yeasty than most blonde ales, with a light fruity esters finish. I would label this a Hefeweisen lite. Medium-light body. Low carbonation and low bitterness. Too yeasty for me.

6 October 2022. At The Dooryard, San Antonio. Shared with the lovely Anke!
A: hazy amber-brown, thin, tan head.
A: brown bread, old raisin, cake.
T: sweetish raisin, plum & brown bread.
F: herbal hops, toffee & raisin.
P: medium body, slick-sticky texture, soft carbonation.
Bit disappointing.

12 oz can from Total Wine - San Antonio. Pours a cloudy reddish-amber color with a tiny beige head and poor retention. No lacing. Faint aroma of souring malt. The flavor is weird: Molasses, hops, dark fruit and booze. Almost no nutty flavor. I agree with the label: not too sweet, not too bitter. It's also not too brown ale. Thin and watery for the style. Light carbonation. Not terrible, but the flavors are all over the place. And the 8.7% ABV becomes more obvious as it warms. Disappointing.

12 oz can from Total Wine - San Antonio. Pours a rusty bronze color with a tiny beige head and poor retention. No lacing. Very light caramel aroma. Tastes like old caramel mixed with old beer. Not much going on here. A bland mix of flavors. Somehow the mouthfeel is both crisp and flat. Medium-light body. Not bitter. Disappointing.
