Description
Pioneers of craft brewing in Croatia! Like Americas breweries, we started craft beer revolution in Croatia, because we want to refresh beer offer in Croatian market. Currently, customers can only buy boring domestic Euro lagers - but not for long!!
As awarded homebrewers, we are passionate about our ales, and we would like to give opportunity to Croatian consumers to enjoy in our beers. Making beers because of quality and flavor, and not because of the cash flow :). Our portfolio will be from cask ales to craft kegs!

Tap at All-In in Zagreb with Marko. Peach pour, misty, medium foam. Nose: fruity, certainly aroma goes towards fruit and tropical with a mild pellet note. Mouth: frizzy carbo, over carbo (not their fault). Bitter, hoppy and softly on the amber way. Tasty ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Deep amber colored, small off white head, frothy. Aroma is malty, bit bready, some nutty aroma, some citrus and herbal hops, some yeast. Taste is medium sweet malt, bready yeasty, caramel, some nuts, medium- citrus and herbal hops, medium bitterness, dryish. Medium bodied, soft carbonation. Interesting to try but doesn't really shine. (on tap, Fakin, Zagreb)

On tap at Valhalla. Misty amber body, lasting off white head. Malty and mild aroma, light light herbal touches, maaybe some chestnut though I would never have picked it out if I didn't know it was there. Same taste, Clean, nice maltiness, slightly on the sweetish side, full, without being cloying. Strange citrus/herbal note (there's only Magnum, and if it's that, it's the best tasting Magnum I've seen in a while). Bit perfumey/herbal, sliiightly soapy. Tasty in a way and interesting... but more interesting than tasty. Not sure they'll be repeating this experiment, but I'm glad to have tried it.

On tap at Craft Room, Zagreb. Pours hazy golden, medium creamy white head. Good lacing. Short lasting flowery hoppy aroma. Herbal. Straight forward strong dry bitter finish. Medium bodied. Not much going on except bitterness in finish. Interesting experiment, but frankly I see no point in brews like this.

On tap at Hop In, Kanal, Zagreb in summer of 2017. Shared with lovely Anja. Murky golden, small off-white head. Moderately to heavily hopped, fruity, tropical aroma, resiny. Light bitterness. Light body, soft to moderate carbonation, intense dry finish. Refreshing. When the hop aromas developed, it turned out great. Lovely finish!

I had the first batch of this one ever, while it was still a homebrew, at Šibenik students' club in Zagreb. I didn't rate it then and I missed it until the summer of 2017, when it was on tap at Hop In Craft Bar, Kanal, Zagreb when it had some trouble with phenols. Tasted again in December 2017 at Horvati bar, Horvati, Zagreb (as Zimski učenjak, Winter Scholar, slightly changed recipe). Hazy golden to dark golden, small to a medium off-white head. Moderately hoppy, citrus aromas. Quite bitter. Light body, soft to moderate carbonation, dry finish.
