A collaboration between Nova Runda and the Šibenik students’ club in Zagreb. Only available in Šibenik and select places elsewhere.
Note: The beer intentionally varies slightly from batch. The summer edition was more of an outright APA and the winter edition has more darker malts.

On tap at Lajbah, Ljubljana. Pours almost clear golden colour, topped with medium large white head, very foamy and pretty lasting. Very lovely tropical fruit aroma, sweet and some lychee notes. Medium bitterness, quite herbal. Strong herbal aftertaste. A bit flat body, lighter. Decent.

I had the first batch of this one ever, while it was still a homebrew, at Šibenik students' club in Zagreb. I didn't rate it then and I missed it until the summer of 2017, when it was on tap at Hop In Craft Bar, Kanal, Zagreb when it had some trouble with phenols. Tasted again in December 2017 at Horvati bar, Horvati, Zagreb (as Zimski učenjak, Winter Scholar, slightly changed recipe). Hazy golden to dark golden, small to a medium off-white head. Moderately hoppy, citrus aromas. Quite bitter. Light body, soft to moderate carbonation, dry finish.

On tap at Hop In Zagreb. Pale golden coloured, small white head, slightly acidic nose. Sweetish malty, light caramel, fruity and herbalish hoppy with rather bitter finish. Bit watery but easy-drinkable.

Bit hazy, golden-orange colored, small to no white head. Aroma is of some malt, citrus and floral with bit fruity hops. Taste is medium sweet malt, light caramel, medium hoppy citrus and floral aroma, light fruity, medium bitterness, dry finish. Light+ bodied, soft carbonation, bit watery. Feels too light... (on tap, Beeryard Fest, Zagreb)

On tap at BeerYard Festival, Zagreb. It happened to be my Croatian #200, yay, never though that count would go so far! It poured a very hazy orange body with almost no head. Weak but fine malty aroma with biscuit, sugar, some orange juice on the sweeter side with some light crisp citrus notes. Cascade, yeah, it could be. Flavor was very lightly bitter with quite lot of yeasty chalk overwhelming it, while sweetness was strong, too, the sugary and candy cloying one, almost dominating over shy herbal bitterness. Otherwise lightly citric, both crisp lemony and sweet fruity just like in the aroma. Thin in body despite some complexity with long, but simple chalky finish. Okay, but a bit weak and too chalky.

Winter Edition - 2017. On tap at Craft Room. Murky amber-red body with an off whtie head. Caramel, fruity, bubblegum aroma, light herbal touches. Light herbal hops on vague fruity notes, more malty than anything, vaguely bready and with a bitterish finish. Okay overall, but not ideal. 6-7/3/6-7-3-12Summer Edition - 2016.On tap at BeerYard. Murky amber with a tiny white head. Nice, light aroma, lime, herbal, grassy notes, good Cascade presence i guess. Quite fine taste, good lime notes, citric herbal, candyish, quite tasty. Lasting bitter finish and aftertaste. Very solid Pale Ale, actually dug it. 7/2/7/4/15. Note: The summer edition in 2017 had mild problems, and was not representative.
