Pours amber with a lasting white head. Aroma: toffee and caramel malts. Taste: caramel, pale malts and candy leading to a soft bitter finish.

Can 440ml (Beerdome). Hazy orange colour, small white head. Sweetish apricot, peach aroma. Medium-bodied. Sweetish fruity flavour, apricot, mango, some citrus, overriped fruits. Not too bad, quite well-done modern sweet fruity DIPA.

Keg at the Maresme taproom - BCN. Pours clear honey-gold with a foamy, white crown. Light-medium sweet flavour with nice dry pale malts, rounded piney hops, citrus rind. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Balanced resinous hops to finish, pine, more citrus rind, lean pale malts. Great classically styled WC IPA.

Tap at Fogg Bar Birras & Cheese, Madrid, Spain. Pours black with very fine brown foam, very stable. Aroma is coffee and dark chocolate. Body and carbonation are average. Fairly smooth. Some astringency, probably because of the intense roastiness. Taste is quite roasty bitter, with some sweetness too. Final is pretty long and roasty.
