Description
Sörműves Kft.

Horizont Brewing is an innovative, indepentent craft brewery, one of the first big names in the craft brewing scene in Hungary. With many medals earned, we are proud to announce that Horizont Brewing was the first mid-European brewery to win the Alltech Craft Beer Cup in 2017 in Dublin. The Sailor Belle, a Belgian Witbier fermented with Saison yeast, is still one of our bestsellers.

What we like is the versatility of our consumers. Our beers are gladly consumed by beer connoisseurs and everyday beer drinkers, and we created our beer portfolio to fulfill everyone's beer needs. Our beers are available in all Michelin star restaurants in Hungary and can be found in most of the craft beer bars around Budapest.

We believe brewing is an art form.

We try expressing that through our labels as well not only by whats inside on the bottles. For that reason we worked with a local artist who created artworks we used on our labels, specifically capturing the essence of the character of the beer on the canvas.

Gyümölcsös és füstös, elég jól kiegyensúlyozott, édeskés, élénk de nem tudom mitől porter.

Bottle. Aroma resiny grassy hops. Lightly lightstruck. Clear golden colour. Taste is initially honeyish, caramel, after a while above moderate bitterness, dull, somewhat lightstruck. Grassy. Truly average.

Bottle. Aroma apricot, a bit weird. Almost clear orange-amber colour. Taste is moderately bitter, funky apricoty fruity flavour, light banana. Interesting white IPA interpretation.

hazy orange colour, huge off-white head;aroma of intensive banana, dill, hints of citruses, some honey and surprisingly some smoky notes; taste of banana and dill again, bread, caramel and smoky notes - excellent weizen; one of the best, if not the best weizen I’ve ever tasted

slightly hazy golden colour, moderate sized white head; aroma of citruses, some tropical fruity notes and caramel, as well as dried fruits (mostly peach and figs); taste is the same; currently one of the best Hungarian IPAs re-tasted from bottle on 14/09/2014 (original rating was: 9/4/9/4/18 - 4.4) it seems to be a totally different beer compared to that one I tasted on tap in June -much less complex and a bit watery now, unfortunately
