Description
Horizont Brewing is an innovative, indepentent craft brewery, one of the first big names in the craft brewing scene in Hungary. With many medals earned, we are proud to announce that Horizont Brewing was the first mid-European brewery to win the Alltech Craft Beer Cup in 2017 in Dublin. The Sailor Belle, a Belgian Witbier fermented with Saison yeast, is still one of our bestsellers.

What we like is the versatility of our consumers. Our beers are gladly consumed by beer connoisseurs and everyday beer drinkers, and we created our beer portfolio to fulfill everyone's beer needs. Our beers are available in all Michelin star restaurants in Hungary and can be found in most of the craft beer bars around Budapest.

We believe brewing is an art form.

We try expressing that through our labels as well not only by whats inside on the bottles. For that reason we worked with a local artist who created artworks we used on our labels, specifically capturing the essence of the character of the beer on the canvas.

Tap. Darker golden pour with white head. Nose is grassy hops, light citruses and malty touches. Taste is sightly sweet malts and honey first, then there’s citric and grassy notes. Slightly oxidized too. Light bodied with average carbonation.

On tap with nitro. Pours jet black with a magnificent beige head. Nose is chocolate, light roasted malts with a hint of raspberry. Taste is sweetish malty with a hint of lactose, showing chocolate, cocoa powder and lightly acidic raspberry. Closes with a chocolatey, fruity finish, has a light, creamy body that's enhanced by the nitro. Sessionable even at this ABV, nice.

Can, tap. Copper pour with an off-white head. Toffee, bread, light biscuits, some honey, light herbal, grassy hoppy touch in the finish to balance the sweetness out. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

Tap. A céljának pontosan megfelel, nagyon laza, könnyen iható (márhogy VEDELHETŐ), frissítő, ráadsául jó a gyümi+fűszer kombó.

Can at home. Semi clear golden pour with a white head. Nose is pine, honey, grass and citruses. Taste is slightly sweet upfront, then it gets pleasantly bitter and finishes bitter and dry. It shows notes of grass and resin mainly with some honey and citruses. Light bodied with soft carbo, drinks below the ABV.

Can. Semi clear golden pour with thin head. Nose is intense coffee, dark sugars, citruses, dried fruits and oak. Taste is coffee-led, but it gets intense support from the citruses and oak too, with underlying dark sugar hints. Medium to high sourness, light body. It’s more or less what it’s intended to be.

Bottle shared with Gabor and Undos. Deep brownish copper pour with a beige head. Nose is tannins, cherry, dark sugars, berries, dried fruits and oak. Taste is fruity, partly bc of the base beer and the barrels, it’s sweetish, boozy, oaky. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Nice example of the style, with a prominent enough barrel character.

Can and tap. Almost totally clear golden pour with a white head. Nose is big on the cucumber and it's got an underlying sweetness combined with the dill notes of Sorachi. Taste is sweetish, grainy, but it's also got a hint of tartness, coming from the lime I guess, and that cucumber character again, resulting in a crisp, fresh, highly drinkable brew. Fun and well balanced, the ultimate summer drink.

Can shared w the brew crew by me. A vernarancs leginkabb illataban jelentkezik, meg ha nem is kifejezetten intenziven, izeben leginkabb a wc jelleg uralkodik citrusos, kisse vagottfuves komlokarakterrel. Kesernyes, szaraz.
