Draught in a 1L growler. Pours deep ruby to brown colour with a small and fizzy off-white head. Nose: Caramel, cocoa & chocolate, sourish roast, some buttery peanuts. Medium body. Modest carbo. Malty taste. Toasted, somewhat roasted. Caramel & treacle along. Dark chocolate as well. A bit vinous. Drier ending with explicit roast and light hop bitterness. A decent one. I haven't had anything of that quality from Beaver yet. Mainly the taste: it's solid.
