Description
An independent brewery founded in 1996 and employee owned since 2024, we like to think that we blend creativity and innovation with heritage and tradition, reflecting these values across our beers. Our house style could typically be described as pale and hoppy, but that’s not all we can do! As the beer world has evolved so have we, covering a wide range of styles and continually pushing the boundaries of what we can create.

Cask conditioned gravity dispense at Merton Beer Festival 16-02-07. Poured a very dark brown in colour, bitter coffee mostly on the nose, taste wasn’t as choclatey as expected and whilst this was nice enough it really struggled when compared to it’s nearest competitor the Rother Valley Co co Hops. Reasonably full bodied and flavoursome but never really grabbed me.

Cask at Ship and Mitre, Liverpool I seem to have run into a succession of very pale gold, citrus hoppy beers. this was my third such beer in a row, so I rather frowned on it, which is a shame as there was absolutely nothing wrong with it whatsoever.

Sampled cask conditioned at Nynäshamn Real Ale Festival, Sweden.
Clear golden. Fruity peach brandy aroma. Sweet and thick, fairly soft. Salty and malty, really fruity. Licorice finish with a big punch of alcohol.
