Keg at the brewpub, 03/05/15. Light black with a moderate tan swirl. Nose is malt, toffee, biscuit, light charr. Taste comprises light cocoa, hobnob biscuits, roasted tones, light fruit trace. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close, faint lactic tang. Ok but not a stout I’d be desparate to try again, lacks depth for a 6%+ beer.

Keg at the brewpub, 03/05/15. Dark mahogany brown with a moderate tan swirl. Nose is malt forward, toffee, biscuit. Taste comprises light chocolate, biscuit malt, toffee, hint of vanilla, nutty. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Ok for style.
