On tap at Coastal Mass, pours jet black with a small light brown head. Aroma has plenty of bourbon, subdued maple syrup, and plenty of sugars in general. Flavour is rich and very sweet, with intense maple syrup, subdued bourbon barrels, and plenty of sugars. Not very refined. The barrels are barely noticeable. The syrup is dominant. There’s not a huge malt depth. It’s okay.

On tap at Coastal Mass, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out obscured pine, some citrus, and biscuity malt. Flavour is a bit off-base, with citrusy pine, some earthy muffled notes, and bready malt. Not the most dialed in or coherent hop expression. It’s alright.

On tap at Coastal Mass, pours a hazy blonde with a small white head. Aroma has bright citrusy, a little like, and dry biscuity malt. Flavour is full bitter citrus zest, pine, grapefruit, and just enough biscuity malt. Real bitter and citrusy. This is a great unfiltered westy.

Pours hazy pale gold into a shaker. Bright white head with good retention recedes leaving soapy foam lacing. Lychee, garlic and overripe papaya aromas. Soft with garlic and soap upfront turning to sour, rotting tropical fruit skin in the unfortunately lasting finish. Nasty. The most enjoyable part was pouring it down the drain - but that taste still lingered.

Pours pale purple into a tumbler. Pink head with little retention recedes to hug rim. Blueberyry and strawberry aromas. Soft with sweet blueberry, blackberry and raspberry front to back. Lasting fruit finish.

Pours mucky gold into a shaker. White head with good retention recedes to coat surface. Passion fruit and melon aromas. Thick with hot pineapple, mango and creamsicle upfront turning to tropical fruit skin before the lasting pith and peel finish.

Has a savory flavor up front that I can't put my finger on, but if finishes smooth. The citrus flavor is not very prominent. Its a good hazy pale ale.
