It’s terrible, I can’t believe anyone drinks this. But as for its type of beer, it’s fine. It’s just a terrible type of beer.

2 liter PET bottle, from an immigrants' store in Jørpeland. Reddish brown colour, shortlived head, moderate carbonation. Aroma of rye bread, hints of burnt caramel and mild spices. Flavour of rye bread, sugar and caramel.

2 liter PET bottle, from Skjæveland Gardsutsalg. Dark brown colour, pours sparkling with a small and shortlived beige head. Unlike other kvas I've had, the aroma and flavour have distinct notes of liquorice and possibly anise. Also the expected notes of rye bread, caramel, cola and sugar.
