Big plastic bottle shared in London - huge thanks to Daniel for is whale. Pours clear ruby with a slight, foamy off-white head. The nose has some tangy berries, grape candies, damp bread. Medium to heavy sweet flavor, lightly result, with raisins, berries, caramel, grape soda, graham crackers. Light bodied with spritzy carbonation. Sugary finish, lots of ripe berries, strawberry, cherry, grapes, rich bread. Drinks quite well. Excellent kvass.

Big dirty bottle at £2.99 care of Dirty Danny. It pours clear deep red - brown with a small beige head. The nose rich malty action, fruit cake, raising sultana, caramel, toffee apple and earth. The taste is tangy dark fruit-a-thon, sugary, sticky, raisin, fruit cake, tangy apple, grape juice and strawberry ice cream with short finish. Light body, fine carbonation and sticky carbonation. Grade A Kvass.

Big plastic bootle, split at LKS, thanks to Dirty Danny, 21/01/16. Rich chestnut brown with a moderate beige covering. Nose is sticky toffee, dark fruit rinds, malt loaf, spice, brown bread. Taste comprises toffee, raisens, caramelised brown sugar, fudge, light spice, brown bread. Light in body, fine carbonation, semi drying close with sweet licks. Sincere Kvassage.

Plastic bottle sample at a tasting at Max’s place. Thanks Stas. Brown. Aroma of malt, caramel, with some honey cookies (duvshaniot). Very sweet flavor, caramelly, sugary, with light citric acidity, and honey. Kinda sticky. Kinda drinkable, but way too sweet.

Huge bottle:Ruby-amber coloured, no head to speak of, clear; lemons, fruit-cake and rye-bread in the sweet nose; flat sweet flavour, presumably balanced by a light acidity, light bodied and sticky; citrussy-bready finish. Meh! Must be a kind of a russian Cola…
