Sample at Freschcraft during the "Colorado Craft Beer Week: Ratio Beerworks Firkin Tapping!" on 03/24/2017. Cloudy golden color with a medium white head that dissipates steadily to an outer ring. Stringy lacing. Aroma of tropical fruit, hops and malt. Light to medium body with flavors of grapefruit, herbal hops and roast malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a fruity hops aftertaste. Above average overall.

10 ounce at the brewery - hazy purple pour, minimal lace - nose of earthy boysenberry, peppery and herbal hops, but also some sprouted garlic that I dislike in combination with the other characteristics - flavor is initially sweet, with flavors of raspberry and grape -gets lightly acidic through the middle, making way for moderate hop bitterness, grass, pepper, herbs - mildly earthy - pretty interesting, actually.

10 ounce at the brewery - a lot sure went into this beer to make it taste so bland - watery texture and flavor, with a thin aroma - some watered-down Chardonnay character, a touch of Brett funk, and lemon juice, with a moderate finishing acidity and sourness - I really appreciate subtle, but this isn’t subtle; it’s simply boring.

10 ounce at the brewery - turbid gold with a soapy lace - nose and flavor are bursting with complex tropical and citrus fruits, with a firm bitterness to balance the clean malt profile - finishes with pepper, grass, and lingering citrus - this is and excellent IPA - Cerebral really seems to be shaping into a formidable local brewery.

10 ounce at the brewery - inky black with an off-white lace - rich coffee aroma, with notes of cream, smoke, anise, bittersweet chocolate - silky texture - warming, but not boozy - flavor of Cuban coffee (that sweetness combined with deep roastiness), smoke, light tart cherry skins, chocolate - warming and spicy finish - pretty on-point.

Taster at the brewery - turbid straw colored - nose of musky pineapple Brett and mandarin oranges (purée was used in the beer) - prickly acidity - moderately funky, highly tropical - the citrus character winds up being pithy and bitter, a little abrasive - throughout it’s a bit muddy and muddled - eh.

Lightly hazy dark gold - nose of citrus, crusty bread, mild cranberry - watery texture - tastes mildly acidic, with very subtle cranberry flesh and a mild buggy funk - orange rind, chamomile - lightly tart finish, with a bit of lingering pepper - odd.

10 ounce at the brewery - hazy gold with a nice frothiness to the head - nose of lemon, grass, pepper, ginger - flavor of straw, wheat, pepper, flint/mineral - finish is bitter, with an underlying citric tang and earthiness - the tiniest bit husky as it warms, but mostly enjoyable.
