Sampled at the brewery, pours a hazy yellow with some lacing, white head. Nose has white flour, lemon, Parmesan rind. Flavor is heavy with white flour, Parm rind, grass. Salty finish. Odd.

Can thanks to Nathan. Pours a turbid orange juice with medium white head that lasts. The aroma is strong orange peel, mango flesh, melon. Medium mouth, citrus, melon, must, light bitterness, very good.

Cloudy beige blond beer, small irregular off-white head, unstable, bit adhesive. Aroma: lots of tropical fruits, pineapple, passion fruit, lovely smell! MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: very hoppy, bitter, citrus, lots of grapefruit, tropical fruit, pineapple, citrus. Aftertaste: resinous, bit sweet, malty, lots of tropical fruits, very hoppy. What a lovely beer!

Draught at King’s Head Pub, 5/7/16.
Just pure, delightful soup. I never thought I’d come this far, but I just love the appearance on the NE IPA now....this has a large, very well-retained white head atop it, as well. Body is a pale, waxen yellow with a graham cracker tint.
Beautiful, just beautiful. I’m glad I had HF Walden right before this. While they’ve got some differences (this one being juicier and soupy) it’s a fun comparison. Bright lemon zest, nectarine and all sorts of dank, woody, vegetative notes with juicy pineapple and mango growing stronger as it warms. Cracker-like malts easily balance (the beauty of these ultra low bitterness/resin IPAs is that they take so little to balance) and while Bissell’s yeast/water doesn’t have the same minerality and general charm as Hill Farmstead’s, this is still a phenomenal beer with no alcohol or flaw.
Dry in the flavor and fantastically juicy. Mango, pineapple, guava, juicy lime and very little bitterness. No twang that you sometimes get from Trillium’s IPAs. Tight, ample, creamy carbonation.
Yep, having had Lux and now this, I can officially marvel at their execution of the 4% hoppy, ultra-pale ale. Definitely the real deal and excited to get more from them.

CAN - Can. Milky. Hazy orange. Huge grapefruit bomb in aroma. Mouthfeel is pretty basic. Thin, fleeting and watery. On the "swish" it’s orange peel and tangerines and a little sucrose. Has a nice bitterness that fades fast (why are all of these IPAs so thick like a milkshake? it’s gross)

This batch was just canned and released this weekend, lucky me! A heavily hazy, nearly soupy amber-golden body topped by a medium-sized white head that fades quickly to cover.
Juice, juicy fruit sweetness and...well....more juice and tropical fruits. Ya, this is not screaming complexity, but the mango-papaya-cherry-pineapple is about as good as your’re going to find. No edge to it whatsoever and only sweet honey-like base malts hang in the background. No booze or flaw.
In the flavor it’s incredibly soft, malty and gently sweet while still maintaining good attenuation. Just a phenomenally tropical juice bomb with moderate cherry character as well. Low but ultra-tight carbonation and low bitterness with no resin or pine. No booze here and no flaw. Just massively juicy hop notes, soft, creamy-malty carbonation-texture and just a nip of bitterness to balance. Pretty f-in good.

Very pale, straw-golden with just a hint of bright, sunny orange. Quite hazy, with a large white head that shows moderate retention.
Ginger is certainly there, but it’s not even necessarily the first thing you notice, being well balanced between mandarin orange and meyer lemon notes. It dries out significantly towards the end, with light white grape, wet straw and unripened guava from the sorachi. Light honey and a touch of perfume, with no toastiness from the rice (I assume the rice is toasted). No alcohol or flaw.
In the mouth it’s lightly bitter, with floral notes and spicy ginger character that is very, very well-done, which is to say, very conservatively done. Spicy hints of pine, soft, dank green notes and lightly sweet honey character from the malt. Low carbonation, but engagingly tight. No alcohol noted. Earth, grain and spice all balanced and interesting, mixing with the more dry, not-in-your-face hops. Awesome.
