Description
When we started this company, our goal was to keep it as straightforward as possible: to craft flavors and experiences that the people of Maine hadn’t had before, and serve them as fresh as possible. Over the years, as the business has grown, we are now able to share our beers with people in other areas – regionally, nationally, and internationally – but Maine always comes first. We strive to take care of those things closest to us, and let that radiate outward: our staff, our processes for making beer, our tap rooms and loyal customers, and the surrounding communities that support us. Everything we do is in support of these things, we are nothing without them.

Bottle shared by CLW on 2/9/25, thanks, Chris!
Dark with deep auburn. Clear. Light tan head, frothy.
A bit austere, dry oak, almost minty. Hmm, what is giving that mintiness?? Some light brown sugar starts to break through. Some roast, some peanut....
Chewy, medium body. Some peanut. Moderate roast not a ton of barrel though quite a bit of oak....seems a bit off. Not boozey.

16 oz draft. Aroma is milled grain and soft toffee. Flavor follows with the addition of a mild spruce in the finish. The spruce-like characteristic balances the malt. Pretty straightforward and would work well on the ski slope.

10 oz draft. Aroma is oak, mild acidic, lemon, and mild funk. a very mild floral presence exists under the acidic lemon and mild funk. Tartness lingers for a good duration after the sip. Nicely constructed!

From tap at Tørst, Brooklyn. Juicy fruity hop aroma with tropical notes, mango, passion fruit, citrus, orange, some oniony dankness, oats, touch of pine. Flavour is mild sweet and medium bitter. Body is medium. Rich and balanced, lovely sweetish juice aroma. Substantial, indeed.

Brewers Tap nitro draught, 2/2/25.
Nitro head is creamy and light tan. Beer is dark.
Creamy coffee with a bit of fruity raisin.
Cold brew heavy, quite roasty but also lightly fruity. Good body fro being nitro. Comes together nicely despite not being my favorite coffee profile (bit dark and ashen). Good dryness and body. Raisin and licorice add a fun touch.

Pours a hazy, amber-copper, with minimal head. Aroma is caramel, butterscotch, dark fruit, some booze. Flavors carry over, particularly the caramel, which is quite strong. Mouthfeel seems maybe a touch thin? The ABV is pretty noticeable in both flavor and aroma.

16oz can from Tavour. Dark, clean pour, thin layer of persistent cream colored head. Aroma is roasty, burnt toast, nutty. Taste brings a nice roasty bite, mild sweetness, cola with a smooth feel. Light bitterness lingers.

Pours orange gold into a willi. Bright white head with excellent retention recedes leaving trailing sheets. Mango, passion fruit and pineapple aromas. Crisp with sweet lemon, papaya and earthy melon upfront turning to dry lemon bars before the abrupt finish.
