500ml bottle. Translated Chmielakia means Hop Meadows. Pours a hazy gold-orange with tiny particles in suspension and a medium, creamy, long lasting, off-white head that leaves curtains of lace. Sweet aroma of caramel malt, orange, grapefruit and earthy yeast. Sweet flavour of bready malt, caramel, orange peel, grapefruit pith, lemongrass, peach and floral hops with a dry, bitter finish. Medium body with an oily texture and soft carbonation. An excellent GF beer, doesn't have any of that weird sorghum flavour.

Smoked and coffee-flavoured stout, shared by Jonathan, cheers! Medium thick, relatively quickly opening, pale yellowish beige head, leaving behind a moussy rim; very dark chestnut brown colour with burgundy edges, almost black in general appearance. Aroma of coffee grounds, bitter chocolate, walnuts, toasted bread, dried fig, iron, bayleaf, cigar tobacco, smoked prunes, liquorish or even actual 'drop'. Dried fruit in the onset, soft sourishness underneath a very restrained sweetness adorned with thinly dried mushroom-like umami accents, softish carbo, supple and somewhat thin mouthfeel; bittering toasty malts with a metallic edge, nutty, bitter chocolate and eventually cold black coffee-like notes - more from roasted malts than from actual added coffee, for which it lacks a bit in retronasal fragrance. Smokiness is subtle but very noticeable in the end as a smoked meat-like umami touch, while herbal and peppery hops provide a long, pleasantly drying 'end bitterness'. Generally dry and umami-coloured, a classic dry stout with smokiness and coffee added so to speak, a bit thin and metallic to truly be great perhaps, but interesting and tasty enough and technically correct.
