Bottle courtesy of Piscator34: Poured a clear medium amber color ale with a medium foamy head with some good retention and some lacing. Aroma of sweet malt is dominating with a light yeasty finish. Body is about average with some good carbonation and no alcohol was discernable. To be honest, I was a bit disappointed by this one and I was expecting more complexity and some dry fruits (figs) component.

A hazy yellow golden ale, translucent, with a thick creamy white head. In aroma, a rather herbaceous wit, with light catnip, pepper. Bizarre. In mouth, no sweetness, and the cirtus completely covers the bubblegum and fruity esters. Medium bodied. Not my style of wit. Thanks Piscator for the trade.

A nice clean dark amber ale with a thick off white head. Pleasant aroma of nutty caramel and fresh mash. with light bubble gum. In mout, a very intense roasted malt, nutty, with light hopping, and fruity esters. Medium bodied. Overall, enjoyed by all. Thanks Piscator!

A brick red hazy brown ale with a thin light moka head. Aroma fruity aroma of pears and yeast, with light alcohol. In mouth, a very sweet malt, with cane sugar, spices and light warming alcohol. Something was a bit off about this beer, not enought roasted malts, too sweet. Trade with Piscator, May 2007.

Slightly hazy straw colour. Slightly spicy, peppery nose with a light fruity accent. The flavour is sweet, but the body is very thin. A variety of tropical fruitiness in this one - papay, pineapple, melon. Because of this interesting dynamic, it gets away with its overbearing sweetness to a certain degree.

Golden-amber colour with a light haze. Brown sugar and corn syrup aroma. Very sweet, fruity, and a little bit bubblegummy. Pale, sweet, low alcohol...to me that is not going to be an effective combination even if you totally nail it.

Amber, hazy. Some lemon candy and bubblegum aroma. Quite sweet, with bubblegum, pepper, lemon and lots of honey notes. Slight plasticy character, which is something I get in abbey ales - a phenol particular to some abbey yeasts I presume. Late, heady alcohol. Just too sweet for my tastes.
