Growler (poured 1/17/26) from the brewery. Opaque black with ring of head, light viscosity, no lacing. Aroma is strong earthy, toasted malt with chocolate oatmeal cookie. Taste follows aroma. Smooth, frothy texture, soft carbonation, finish as taste. Maybe a bit earthy for me in the base stout but glad to taste the base beer underneath the adjuncts. Pleasantly surprised given the tepid ratings on the UTher site.

32 ounce growler shared by tfontana. Thank you! Aromatic oatmeal with chocolate. Flavor is quite well rounded. Chocolate, oatmeal, and roasted malt. Nicely dry in the texture. The body is appropriate for the ABV level.
