Can from a South Korean supermarket in London. Dark and inky. Foamy beige head soon recedes almost entirely. Aroma has sweet berries with a sour edge. Underlying creamy coffee. Flavourwise it is again led by sour berries. Some coffee. Moreso in the underbelly. Malts are a tad cardboard. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Soft-fizzy carbonation. Long dry somewhat astringent finish. Decent enough workmanlike stuff.

17/10/2024. Can bought at nice to CU, Gunam-ro, Haeundae-gu, Busan. Pours clear amber with a frothy off-white head. Aroma is malty, toffee, golden syrup, stewed fruits, hint of chocolate. Medium sweetness, moderate bitterness. Medium body, average carbonation. Compared to other canned supermarket beers tried on this trip so far, this was very good.

Squeeze Beer 밤이면 밤마다, vom Faß im Wooh Ahh, Gwanghwa-mun (광화문 우아). - Dunkelbraun, dunkler Schaum. - Reicher Duft nach Bitterschokolade und Erdnüssen. - Antrunk kräftig bitterschokoladig und mokkabitter dunkelmalzig aber mit unpassenden, zart säuerlichen und gemüsigen Noten. Milder rezent, vollmundig, weich im Mund. Im Abgang leicht trocken, angenehm malzbitter und gut hopfenwürzig. Leider trüben bis zuletzt überdeutliche Noten von Erdnüssen und Kohl das Vergnügen. - Trotz reicher Malzigkeit eher enttäuschender, durch leichte aber doch störende Fehlaromen beeinträchtigter Versuch eines American Porter aus der südkoreanischen Provinz.
