33cl bottle from the Boston Supermarket (the Lincolnshire, original Boston). Poured into a Hoegaarden Grand Cru stemmed tulip glass. This is the third of three beers in my mini Lithuanian tasting session with myself on Sunday 5th Nov 2017. Lovely amber body, clear and clean, on top a beige foam blanket. Hop front in aroma, some maltiness coming through too. Bitter tasting, hoppy initially, then a strange metallic flavour that has been left in treacle and started to rust (not that I tend to lick rusty iron bars, treacle coated or otherwise). What a weird tasting beer.

33cl bottle from the Boston Supermarket (the Lincolnshire, original Boston). Poured into a Hoegaarden Grand Cru stemmed tulip glass. This is the second of three beers in my mini Lithuanian tasting session with myself on Sunday 5th Nov 2017. Clear ruby pour, lightly tanned crown for a head. Nose is malty with some hedgerow berries , taste is malty with red berries and fairly well carbonated body wise. Gets sweeter as it warms in the glass, caramel notes appear alongside the berry flavours. My sweet tooth liking the beer more and more with each sip.

33cl bottle at home on 5th Nov 2017, one month before it's BBD. Poured into a Hoegaarden Grand Cru stemmed tulip glass. Cloudy, mucky amber/brown body, white topping. Yeasty with cloves and another herb like aroma in the nose, almost like a medical cough mixture. Taste is also yeasty with cloves and coriander to the fore, light citrusy notes appear as the beer warms a little. It's OK, but not one of the best in style I've come across.

Bottle 500ml. [ As Vilniaus Bačkorių Gira ].Clear dark brown colour with a small, fizzy, virtually none lacing, fully diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, dark malt, bread, burnt malt, sweet malt, light brown sugar. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, bread, brown sugar, dark malt, sweet malt. Body is medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20170930] 4-3-4-2-6

Barwa bursztynowa, zmętnione, piana w kolorze złamanej bieli, niezbyt obfita, jakoś się trzyma. W aromacie karmel, lekki banan, goździk. W smaku mało pszenicznej gładkości, kwaskowość też nie za duża, dużo goździka i karmelu. Wysycenie średnie. Mocno przeciętne.

Barwa złota, zmętnione, piana biała, umiarkowanie obfita, jakoś się trzyma. W aromacie jogurt bananowy, drożdże, nieco piwnicy. W smaku słodowe, ale bardziej w stylu lagerowym, nieco piwnicy, drożdże, mało banana. Goryczka niska, wysycenie za niskie, brakuje gładkości. Mało charakteru weizena no i wadliwy.

0,33 flaske fra Bulgarsk Mad på Åboulevard (København), på hytta okt-17: kastanjefarge med fint beige skum som varer. Et nokså søtt, maltdrevet øl hvor jeg kunne tenkt meg litt mer humlebitt, synes den er litt ute av balanse. Mørke karameller, søte mørke bær, litt ristet brød. Søtlig avslutning. Fant ingen inspirasjon i denne.

Flaske fra Bulgarsk Mad (Åboulevard København), på hytta: lett uklar gylden med fint skum som varer. Jordatige toner sammen med citrus, urter og gress i både smak og aroma. Fin maltsødme balanserer smaken. En god og lettdrikkelig øl, perfekt til mine fiskefilæter, og til 13 kr et varp.

Bottle. Frothy white fair mostly deminishing head. Dark amber colour. Moderate malty and light hoppy bredy aroma. MOderate seet flavor. Short sweet finish. watery palate.
