Yellow color with white head. Malt, hay, grain aromas. Light bitterness and sweetness. Average body

Bottle @ Eko marked in Stavanger. Slightly unclear brown/amber under a short living, small tan head. Unusually aroma, bread, yeast, malt, caramel and brown sugar in a slightly unpleasant way. Had to get a bit used to this aroma. Taste is very sweet and malty with rye, brown sugar, hint of caramel but more in the direction of brown sugar, some yeast and dry fruit. No bitterness. Medium to heavy body with the same aftertaste all the way trough. Not a fan of the style, and even uncertain if I have ever tasted a proper made version. But I just like to taste on any now and then to check. One dimensional and almost difficult to have more than one glass, but I manage about three glasses of this one.

Light brown colour, almost no head. Aroma is natural dark bread, some caramel. Light sweetness, lightly sour. Soft carbonation, not cloying, maybe a bit watery. Good kvass.

Bottle at von Stackelberg Hotel, Tallinn. Pours hazy golden with dense white head. Aroma of floral hops, grains, straw. Tastes pretty sweet with little bitterness. Thin bodied.

Appearance: clear deep gold with a moderate off-white frothy head of medium retention. Aroma and taste: grain, candy, esters, grass, slightly toasted. Light to medium sweet, light bitter. Mouth feel: medium body, average carbonation. Overall: mediocre.

Appearance: fogged deep brown with a moderate ivory-coloured frothy head of medium retention. Aroma: caramel & toast, various spices. Taste: as described above. Light sweet. Low bitterness. Mouth feel: medium minus body, average carbonation. Overall: not impressive.
