Appearance: misty deep gold to pale amber with a decent off-white head. Aroma: candied citrus fruit, floral, pine needles. Taste: pretty sweet, malts-driven start. Candied citrus fruit, some caramel. Pine needles. Light to medium ending bitterness. Mouth feel: medium body, average carbonation. Overall: a simple but well drinkable IPA.

Appearance: clear gold with a moderate white head of decent retention. Aroma: massive malt, candy, hay, walnut, just a tiny alcohol hint. Taste: rather sweet, malty. Some nuts and fruit along. Low to light bitterness. Palate: medium body, appropriate carbonation. Overall: a simple still fair bock.

Appearance: chestnut brown, large ivory-coloured frothy head of perfect retention. Aroma: dried fruit, treacle, brown bread, toasted notes. Taste: medium minus sweetness and low to light bitterness. Rich malts, dried fruit, treacle. Palate: medium minus body, average to lively carbonation. Overall: really ok.

Look: chestnut brown, slightly misted, moderate off-white head of mediocre retention. Aroma: toast, caramel, candied sugar, dried apples, pears, prunes, brown bread, distant nail polish. Taste: medium sweet initially, more watery after that. Brown bread, dried fruit, nail polish, toast, a hint of hop in the ending. Mouth feel: light to medium body, average carbonation. Overall: pretty mediocre in terms of body, otherwise not bad.

500ml bottle from Sofia Eastern European Store, Telford. Deep chestnut brown appearance with large off-white head. Rich toffee nose, continuing to taste with some pleasant nutty malt shades. Nice toffee-laden Lithuanian dunkel after driving to London and back.
