Bright, pale. Thin head. Aroma is quite dank, little bit piney, light orange. Sweet malts, really nice malt character. Light orange. Really good.

16 oz. can, pours a clear pale golden with a small white head. Aroma has a nice dank, piney, oily hop expression, some tropical melon, and just enough biscuity malt to back. Flavour has a great, fresh, dank hop character—lots of pot-like resinous hop oils, pine, and a thin biscuity malt base. Excellent dank westie.

Poured from 473mL can. Chill hazed yellow gold with small white head. Dank tropical and melon hops with clean biscuit malt. Enjoyable.

473mL can. Pours clear pale gold with a white head. Tons of dank resins, pine, and some dry allium on the nose. Flavour is dank and resins, notes of pine and onions. The malts are perfectly fine, but this is dominated by a fantastic dank hop expression. This is excellent.

Murky, super opaque and almost grey, bubbly head, alcohol on the nose and some egregious hop…massive hop burn, hard to pull much else out. Some sweeter malt and a bit of orange. This one is kind of rough.

Greyish murky looking thing. Some mellow citrus and peach hop notes…motueka. But also it’s a hazy. I don’t completely hate it but it is a muddled hop burny slopfest.

Bright amber with medium head. On the palate, there’s onion, on the palate it’s more complex with citrus, weed, but also citra. Good malt base to this. Well-balanced, though maybe I could do without the onion.

Opaque amd greyish. Light grapefruit, a but weedy. Some malt balance, hints of pine. Some alcohol late but this comes together better than the TIPAs

Dark brown, thick head, same aroma as the base but with a lot of coffee over top of it. Coffee, vanilla, same nothling base that needs a little something. Not sure adjuncts are it, but they don’t detract and arguably add a bit.

Dark brown, thick head, nice mellow chocolate, slightly fudgey aroma. Medium body, light fudgey accent. Actually not going hard in the oat direction or the hop direction, which are my two favourite directions for this style. Ends up as a decent stout but one that I feel leaves a sense of purpose on the table.
