tap - Pours dark amber and has an aroma of caramel malt. Flavor is malty caramel sweetness with minimal hops. It may not be anything special but this medium to full bodied brew is fairly tasty.

Pours hazy orange with some lacing. It has a big citrusy hop aroma. The flavor is led by crisp hoppy bitterness with pleasant citrus character and a good malt backing. Medium bodied. This is a very good IPA.

Pours a hazy copper color with an aroma of citrusy hops. The flavor has moderate to high bitterness that isn't terribly bitter for the style. There are notes of citrus and resin and the hops lingers pleasantly on the palate. It's quite good though nothing special for one of my favorite styles.

Pours a clear copper color and has a mild caramel malt aroma. The flavor is sweet malt with caramel and some mild hops bringing some balance. Light to medium bodied. Pretty good.

There's a whole lot of coffee in the aroma and flavor is this amber colored beer. It also tastes of caramel malt and mild hops. The finish is moderately bitter with lots of roast coffee lingering. Good beer.

(current release of Midnight Retreat is shown as 8.5% abv so this variant likely is too) - Pours black with a small tan head. It has a roasty coffee rich aroma. The flavor is of dark roast coffee and malt with maybe a little chocolate. Medium bodied. It seems like a light body for an imperial stout. The commercial description says subtle coffee. Hah. No, it's not subtle. There's a lot of coffee flavor here. It's good though. New rating from June 2022 - I had their latest coffee infused Midnight Retreat and found it much improved. It’s big on the dark roast coffee along with a hefty dose of dark roast malt, some chocolate, and a good balance. Full bodied. 8/4/8/5/17. Averaged with my first rating and I’ll give it a 4.0.

Pours near black and smells of roast malt and coffee. Flavor is similar with a nice roast coffee character with a little chocolate. It's medium bodied and well balanced. Good brew.

Dark amber-brown pour. The aroma is of caramel malt and alcohol. The flavor is sweet and malty with a little caramel and quite a bit of alcohol. It's decent but underwhelming for a doppelbock.
