7/4/2024. Bottle shared by Colin, cheers! Pours clear dark golden with a small short lasting bubbly white head. Aroma is apple, baked, caramel, straw, slight funky and mucky notes. Moderate sweetness and bitterness with light tartness. Moderate body, a little watery, average carbonation. Drying finish. Pretty decent.

Panda courtesy of Theydon_Bois, cheers Colin! Golden colour, bubbly white head that dissipates away and aroma of apple, juicy, funk. Taste is sweetish, apple, fleshy, fruity, funky hint, with some acidity and tannin. Medium bodied, low carbonation, drying finish. Nicely drinkable.

Bottle at home, from Elston & Son online, 23/03/24. Clear golden with a fast escaping white head. Nose is crisp apple, straw, orchard wood, apple pips, grains. Taste comprises bitter sweet apple, hint of caramel, glue, farmyard nip. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close. Not bad.

6/12/2002. Bottle shared by Colin, cheers. Pours clear very pale gold with minimal head. Aroma is slightly baked, apple, sulphur, strawberry creme. Quite sweet with light to moderate tartness. Moderate body, slightly oily, spritzy carbonation. Dry fruity finish. Not bad.

Taste is sweetsh, apple, caramel, red apple, sugary hints, with some light drying tannin. Medium bodied, light carbonatioon, medium-dry finish. Quite drinkable.

Bottle at home, from Elston & Son online, 25/09/22. Pale golden blonde with a moderate white crown that soon vanishes. Nose is sweetish apple, sugars, caramel, straw. Taste comprises bitter sweet apple, caramel, perfume, sugars, straw. Medium bodied, light spritzy carbonation, semi drying close. Decent enough if a touch on the sweet side for my liking.
