16oz can. Brett is there, but not outright sour...no nail polish harshness or anything like that. In fact it just gives the Saison yeast some depth and balance. Creamy, yeasty body helps mellow it out as well.

Sample at GTMW 2024, 8/10/24. New brewery! Brewery #2292, USA #1887, Ill #86. Black, thin frothy head, average retention. Aroma of roast, peanuts, chocolate. Taste is roast, chocolate, hops.

On tap at Roaring Table, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma has resinous hops, sweet biscuity malt, and toasted notes. Flavour is unbalanced, with sweet caramel malt, resinous hops, and light pine. Haphazardly balanced and mist poorly constructed. This doesnt work.

On tap at Roaring Table, pours a clear blonde with a small white head. Aroma has plenty of oily resins, pine, some dankness, and sweet malt to back. Flavour is oily and mineraly, with oily resinous hops, light pine, and sweet biscuity malt. A bit too mineraly, like something went slightly wrong in the fermentation. The hop expression is good but the construction is a bit off. Decent.

On tap at Roaring Table, pours a clear blonde with a small white head. Aroma has esters, light floral notes, and gentle Belgian yeast expression. Flavour is way too estery, sweet and candied has all the usual problems North American tripels have. Quite bad.

On tap at Roaring Table, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma has lightly spicy hops, toasted bready and a hint of sweet malt doesnt quite seem on point. Flavour is crackery, with straw, crackery malt and barely a trace of the Saaz (if they even used any). Not nearly hoppy enough, so it just comes across minerally. Meh.

16oz can. Bready, malty. Easy drinking and delicious. Simple, but sublime. Doesn't blow me away, but good.

16oz can. Honey seems like a really odd addition to a dry lager, and it is. Earthy, undesirable aroma. Pleasant mouthfeel, but not really that dry. Drinkable, but not an impressive offering.

16oz can. Nice Brown Ale. Nice, true malt tone, but not sticky or heavy. Subtle, mild hop balance. Toffee, chocolate, caramel. Really good.
