16 oz can. Aroma is grapefruit, lime, maybe lemon. Flavor show the predominant amount of grapefruit with mild hints of melon and lemon. Carbonation is normal and so is the mouth feel for the style. Good brew.

16 ounce can. Aroma is light toast, cracker malt and a bit of flowery hops in there as well. Flavor is mostly some sweet bread, a bit of toast, and a very little bit of hoppiness.

Canned 5/7/24, drunk 8/28/24. Lightly-to-moderately hazy, pale brass-peach-melon. Medium-sized, white head, moderate retention. Fruity and soft in the nose with a nice mix of tropical, citrus and pine notes. Biscuit, cracker, touch of white bread from the malt, gently balances. Clean, no resin/twang. Fruity, playful, juicy citrus and light berries in the mouth with a lighter body, but still amply malty. Soft oat and wheat with high attenuation and ample bitterness make it refreshing and quenching. Very balanced and lives up to its name.

Can from Livonia Liquor. Pours a thick, viscous pitch black with a finger of brown head that lingers. Dark chocolate, vanilla and roasted coffee on the nose. Palate is similar with coffee, vanilla and more dark chocolate really standing out. Full-bodied and well-rounded mouthfeel. Lingering chocolate, coffee and vanilla on the finish.

Can (24066, so 3/6/24) pour from Manchester Wine and Liquors. Inky black pour with nice viscosity, no head, no lacing. Aroma is strong bittersweet coffee, dark roasted malts, vanilla, lactose, all in nice balance. Taste follows aroma. Smooth, thick texture, full bodied with soft carbonation, no sign of alcohol and finish as taste.

12 oz can shared by tfontana! Aroma and flavor deliver on the coffee, vanilla, and roast. Texture and body are what you want in a impy stout. Well made.
