Panda at home, thanks to Graham Grumbo, 07/03/24. Lighter shade of black with a thin beige cap. Nose is light roast, toffee, dark fruit rinds, herb, cocoa powder. Taste comprises roast malts, charr, treacle toffee, light spice, dates, raisins. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Okay stout if lacking some depth for 8%.

22/2/2024. Bottle traded with Erik, many thanks. Pours thick black with a small creamy frothy beige head. Aroma is dark chocolate, cocoa, roasted malt, tar, black coffee, dried fruits, molasses, burnt sugar. Moderate to medium sweetness, medium roasted bitterness. Quite full bodied, smooth, average carbonation. Increasing bitter roast finish. Enjoyed this.
