Bottle 33 cl. Pours a cloudy, opaque black with a small, beige head. Lovely aroma melange of sweet roast, coconut and whisky. Body is a little thin considering the ABV, but still has a solid, roasty maltiness with coconut notes. The whisky and wood from the 150 days of barrel aging may seem a little harsh. May I recommend a little lower attenuation and using a Bourbon barrel next time. But loads of promises here. 060824

Bottle 33 cl. Pours thick and jet black with a tiny, rough light brown head. Inky, iodine peat aroma. Rich, sweet roasty body - pretty much flat. Chocolate galore, wood and whisky - and again quite some peat, ink, tart and iodine. But the peat is luckily not to a degree where this is undrinkable. Warming finish. 310724

Bottle 33 cl. 7,5% in my version. Pours a clear brown with an orange hue and a small, rough, beige head. Dark dried fruits in the nose, molasses and friendly phenols. Medium body, super dry, again molasses, some licorice and even a hint of roast. Kinda bitter for the style. Not bad even if I personally prefer my Dubbels a little sweeter. 310724

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a cloudy, murky, grayish, brownish red with a tiny off-white head. Super intense almost perfumy raspberry aroma. Medium body, almost flat, again super intense and dry raspberry notes with a dry - but not really bitter - finish. A fruit beer indeed, but has absolutely nothing IPAish going on. 310724
