--Bottled at Zaboky, Zabok. -- Dark brown, coarse head. Aroma of licorice and tobacco. Mid sweet with medium body and clean, rounded mouthfeel. Dark bread, licorice and coffee, some roasty malt tartness. Mid bitter finish.

Bottled 500ml. -at Medina Škrinja Varaždin. Blackish coloured, medium sized pale beige head, light malty caramel nose. Original review text: Bottled 500ml. -from Hotel Millenium Selce. Black coloured, medium to big size brownish head, malty and light chocolate nose. Mild roasted malt, chocolate, light caramel, some yeasty notes and short bitterish finish. Better than Croatian Ale but still 7.50€ is overpriced.

Sample, thanks to Grumbo. Clear deep golden appearance, white head. Floral, perfumed sweetness provides much of the character here, some menthol dentist mouthwash notes.. not sure about it.

24/12/2022. Bottle courtesy of danlo, cheers Ed. Pours clear dark golden with a huge frothy white head. Aroma is herbal, floral, slightly perfumed, malty, berries, caramel, yeast. Medium sweetness, light earthy bitterness. Moderate body, quite watery and fizzy. Slightly chalky, biscuit finish with some sweet cream soda. A little odd.

Bottle, 0.5l. Murky, muddy brown pour, three finger creamy off-white head, medium lasting. Sticky lacing on the glass. Malty nose, caramel, hints of coffee, light fruity touches. Light body, high carbonation. Fizzy, prickly mouthful, average texture, slightly watery. Again, gets me bloated, not so easily drinkable. Bittersweet taste, unbalanced. Aroma all over the place, caramel, coffee, rust. Lingering metallic bitterness. Hints of fruits in the background. Long lasting finish, dry and bitter. Quite all over the place. Not that good but hopefully it's just a bad batch. Will try it again sometime.

Bottle, 0.5l. Cloudy darker golden/copper pour, one finger creamy white head, medium retention, sticky lacing on the glass. Malty on the nose, jam and honey notes, subtle fruity background, some perfumy notes. Light to medium body, high carbonation. Fizzy and prickly mouthful, average texture. Somewhat hard to drink, gets me a bit bloated. Bittersweet taste, slightly unbalanced. Aroma of grains, minerals, grass. Floral and perfumy notes, bread, fruity background. Lingering bitterness, somewhat harsh. Medium lasting finish, dry. Nothing to get excited about.
