We opened the doors of our first location in West Kingston, RI in February of 2013. Three and a half years later we took the 20 minute trek north to Warwick, RI. Our new brewery is a 15,000 square foot beast with over 5x our West Kingston production capacity. This new facility features a 2,000 square foot barrel aging and wood cellar for sour and wild ales, as well as a 3,000 square foot tasting room and retail area complete with custom art installations, bar, furniture, and a small retro video arcade. In the spring, we plan on adding an outdoor patio to the lineup. Come on over, grab a beer, and say Hi! Cheers!

Can (7/26/22) pour from The Beer Store. It's a cloudy light brown-dark yellow with nice sparkle, finger-width white foamy head with excellent retention and nice soapy lacing. Aroma is subtle sweet/tart pineapple, grape. Taste is pineapple/rind, fruit salad, biscuit. Mouthfeel is light-to-medium bodied with smooth texture, soft carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, aroma and flavor are pretty subtle and without clear direction. Had higher hopes.

From a pint can. Pours a cloudy orange with an off white head. Aromas of peach and pine. Flavors are sweet with bitter grapefruit.

Snallygaster 2022. Poured a clear dark light copper color with a medium sized off-white head. Aroma was light raisin, light yeasty notes. Flavor was light raisin, sweet malts. Pleasant stuff with a little alcohol heat.

Draught at Canary Square, 8/27/22. Lightly hazy, peach-orange. Thin, white head, no retention. Smells like punchy lactic acidity. Maybe some vague citrus and peach notes, but mostly just hard, arbitrary, forced lactic acid. In the mouth it's more of the same. Heavy, forced, lactic acid. Like taking a glass of seltzer and adding some orange and peach juice and then dumping a shot of lactic acid in it. Gross.

Canary Square draught, 8/27/22. Seems lightly clear. Ebony. Small, light-tan head, moderately-strong retention. Wow. No lactose? No vanilla? No coffee? No coconut? Is this even a stout? Instead of those notes, I get notes of vanilla, coffee, dark fruits and good acidity on the end. In the mouth it's certainly acidic, dry, well-attenuated with a good, medium-to-medium-full-bodied texture. Vanilla, espresso, ash, coffee and molasses. Great attenuation, no syrupy sweetness, no adjunct.

Elm Street Taproom draught, 7/9/22. Heavily hazy, pale-golden with a dense, white head atop. Nose is heavy, heavy fruit ester and light bubble gum, with somewhat bland/dull actual yeast/sediment. Very, very minimal hops, sadly. In the mouth it's extremely, extremely yeasty. More actual yeast and/or other sediment in suspension, than actual yeast ester - though there's plenty of that too. Almost no hop character, just a bit of light juice that's heavily faded. Gaining some autolysis and other such yeast off-notes and growing lightly vomit-like. Can't finish. Clearly this has been on tap too long and must be one of the last pours in the keg. Will log this rating and certainly re-rate a fresher sample.

5.2% tall boy trekked down from RI by my awesome wife. Pint glass @home. Stiff, lingering foam. Stopped waiting for it to settle after a while. Pale gold, but softly hazy. Lightly dank. Grassy, peppery, white sugar. Mostly dry, floral bitterness, with a sweet, lemon back end & a touch of peppery steel. Quite nearly flat, but plenty frothy. Easy abv. Easy beach beer.
