Nice dry Irish stout, roasty as hell with deep veins of unsweetened chocolate, java, and a touch of caramel, followed by a lengthy, clingy bitterness. Tasty as hell.

Very nice American brown, full of caramel, cocoa, and pumpernickel bread with a moderate but welcome pine bitterness on the back end. Solid pint.

Pretty sure this the first “black pilsener” I’ve come across, and it’s a pretty darn neat thing, stylistic delineations be damned. Roasted malt notes of chocolate and coffee sit on top of grass and a firm floral bitterness, resulting in a surprisingly complex beer. Hidden gem here.

Juicy, if a little raw, with wet malt notes underneath the orange, peach, and tropical fruit. Modest pine bitterness on the back end. Eh.
