Can from Eebria. Hazy golden-amber with small white head. Aroma of light toasted grains, sweetness, stone fruits, grapefruit; understated but pleasant. Taste is more piney and bitter than the aroma suggested with toasted grain, citrus zest, grapefruit, hint of passionfruit. Quite good.

Can from the St Andrews Brewhouse. Appearance - amber to copper. Thin suds. Nose - caramel, toffee and light smoke. Taste - burnt toffee and brown bread. Palate - light bodied, chewy and lightly smoky. Overall - ok, considering the low ABV. Wouldn't really consider this as a Scotch Ale.
