Description
My name is Jacob Liddle (The Jiddler) and this is my Tipple! I have been home brewing for years in Turnpike Lane, North London. I launched Jiddler's Tipple in October 2019 with the aim of creating perfectly balanced, delicious, session strength (3.8%) craft beer.

Since 2019 I have been working with a brewery in South London (By The Horns) to help scale up my homebrew operation.

Tap at mad Squirrel watford. A mostly clear golden orange coloured pour with a a decent white cap. Aroma is semi sweet, mango, Lychee, peach melba, soft grains. Somewhat artificial on the nose. Flavour is composed of pithy citrus, grassy citrus, chalky finish, peach melba. Some fruit flavourings. Palate is light, chalky, highish powdery carbonation. Adjucts and uninspired.

Can. Hazy yellowish orange with a brief white head. Rather indistinct citrus and cracker aroma. A bit of body for the ABV. A bit lemon barley water- like. Nagging bitterness. OK.

Can at Three Hounds, Beckenham. Aroma certainly has apricot, but it's low key. Opaque gold. Thick foamywhiteheadsoonrecedes. Light-medium sour apricot. Sherbert. Underlying bitterness. All a tad muted. Light..Thin. Soft-fizzy carbonation. A chalky residue. Long dry slightly astringent finish. Bland.

On tap at CBC, Covent Garden on 10th May 2024. Clear gold with shallow, lasting foam and spot lacing. Tangy citrus aroma. Rich and intense citrus tang in-mouth and a pithy, fruity finish. Medium bodied with a zingy mouthfeel. Exquisite.
